Thank you for your interest in Nouveau Kiskeya's progress.  The excitement continues for everyone involved with the project and we really appreciate the many kind messages of encouragement that we receive.  We have responded to at least one of the common requests that we have heard ... "more pictures please!"

In fact, we have changed this Progress Report page so that our written updates are more brief and our pictures more plentiful.  Just click on the thumbnail pictures on this page to open a complete set of images on each subject ... and enjoy!

Finding Water in Haiti

Robert Ulysse had a vision, a passion, to change the course of his impoverished homeland, Haiti. Key to the dream was clean water, both for his development project and for the people of the area. In May 2007, we found that water - clear, clean and plentiful - and it was accomplished in spite of many who doubted it could be done. Click here to read the full article.

Nouveau Kiskeya Guest House

The guesthouse and restaurant are operational so please feel free to contact Robert or Rose Ulysse at Robulyss@bellsouth.net to make arrangements for your next visit.  They are gracious hosts!

Nouveau Kiskeya Design and Engineering

The land plan for Phase 1 is substantially complete and provides a very creative and site-sensitive layout for 1,500 homes over approximately 750 acres.  In addition, architectural designs have been substantially completed for a prototype home in several different sizes.  Many hours of creative, professional work have already gone into ensuring that Nouveau Kiskeya is the premier place for you to call "home" in Haiti! The process of finishing designs and engineering will continue as we prepare for on-site construction.

Nouveau Kiskeya Construction

A new connector road is under construction between Nouveau Kiskeya and the main road serving the Jean Rabel region.  The road has been designed and strategically routed to withstand all weather conditions.  The road is obviously very important for transporting people to Nouveau Kiskeya; but the road is also critical for transporting materials as we set the stage for major construction on site.

Economic Opportunity

Nouveau Kiskeya has already been in a position to employ hundreds of local people at wages that are significantly higher than average for the region. The economic activity generated by the project is already having a demonstrable impact throughout the region.

How Can You Help?

We receive many inquiries from people so excited about this project that they just want to help in any way they can.  We would be honored if you did one simple, yet profound, thing for this project ... please pray.

A project the magnitude of Nouveau Kiskeya is very complex ... being in Haiti makes it even more challenging.  In addition to creating a successful real estate development, the investors and management team are also genuinely committed to using Nouveau Kiskeya to provide sustained economic development and spiritual transformation in this area of Haiti.

Please pray for God's continued blessings and guidance for this wonderful project!
