In early 2008 it became necessary for Nouveau Kiskeya to slow down pre-development activities while it focused on a long-term property rights agreement with the Haitian Government. During the week of September 22, 2008, Nouveau Kiskeya represenatives met with key Government officials in Port-au-Prince to discuss next steps regarding the project. The results are encouraging.
